BENFLEET CC 6 A SIDE TOURNAMENT 2008

Its that time of year again when Cricket goes Crazy at Woodside Park.

August 25th Bank Holiday Monday is Benfleet's Annual Six a SideTournament.

Its a full day of cricket with a BBQ, Beers and a few side shows to keepyou all entertained.

On Sunday 24th August Benfleet Cricket Club will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary with a club funday!

We intend to run U11 on the bottom square and an U13 game on the top square in the morning with a breafast BBQ running. (tbc)
Then in the afternoon on the top square an U15,U16 and senior combined game in the afternoon.
(Availabilities required)

On the bottom square there will be a friends of Benfleet game being run by Dave Nash as part of the 60th Anniversary reuniting past and present Benfleet.

We hope to see as many of you there as possible to support the day!

Benfleet Cricket Club will again be running fun and enjoyable Cricket schools for the summer holiday in conjunction with the ongoing Chance to Shine Program

The camp will be run by qualified level two cricket coaches from England and New Zealand including a coach regularly working on behalf of Essex County Cricket Board, and a school teacher with high quality experience.

Dates:
Friday 25th July;
Monday and Tuesday 4/5 Aug;
Tuesday and Wednesday 12/13 Aug;
Tuesday and Wednesday 19/20 Aug.

Time: 09:45am (registration) – 3:00 pm (Weather Permitting)

Cost: £10 for a single day and £5 for the second day

Please bring a packed lunch, drinks, (a tuck shop may be on offer), cricket kit (gear is available) and sun tan lotion/hat.

The camp offers a wide range of activities for girls and boys from the school year 4 and over.

WEEKLY OUTDOOR TRAINING - (Weather permitting)

U-9/U-11/U-13 Wednesdays from 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Training is open to both boys and girls and we would love to see new faces turning up at training!

U-15/U-16 Thursdays from 6.30pm - 7.30pm

(For Health & Safety reasons please book in with Debbie U-13s, Clive Acraman or Sue Blowes U-15 & U-16 and Chris Goodison U-9 & U-11 before training begins).
